How much would we have to walk?

The route is about 5–7 km (3–4 miles). But don’t think of it as just walking — it’s a journey through streets full of puzzles, discoveries, and surprises.

Is it free to participate in this quest?

Yes, the adventure is absolutely free. All you need to bring is your curiosity and team spirit.

Do I have to know the city well in order to solve the riddles?

Not at all! Even if it’s your first time in Philadelphia, the riddles will guide you to stories and places you’d never expect to find. Locals often discover something new, too.

Can I use the bike to get to a checkpoint faster?

The quest is meant for walking — that way, every team plays on equal ground and gets to fully enjoy the route and the mysteries along the way.

How long does the quest last?

On average, 3–4 hours. But time flies when you’re busy solving riddles and unlocking the city’s secrets.

Can I use public transportation, like subway, bus, or trolley?

Yes, you can. SEPTA buses, trains and trolleys are allowed to use. Any private or individual form of transportation however is not.

Am I allowed to use my phone to search with Google or other tools?

Yes, of course! A little online help can be useful. But most riddles reward sharp eyes, logic, and creative teamwork even more.

Where does the game start and finish?

We’ll share the meeting point in the Whtatsapp and Telegram groups when we know it. The finish line is a mystery — you’ll have to solve the riddles to find it! Think of it as: “The finish line is here, and we’re on the way!”

What should I bring with me to the game?

We provide booklets with riddles and all the materials you’ll need. Just bring comfortable shoes, a fully charged phone with internet access, water, and maybe a snack to keep your energy up.

Is the quest physically demanding?

Not at all — it’s more about brains than brawn. You’ll walk, think, laugh, and explore, but no heavy activity is required.

Is there a prize for the winning team?

Yes! The best team will take home a prize — along with bragging rights as the city’s sharpest explorers.

Is there an age limit?

Children older than 10 can be full team members. Younger children can join along with their adults, but they do not count as official team members. Teams should still have 2–5 adults to participate fully.

Do I need to register in advance, or can I join on the day of the game?

Registration in advance is preferred – that way we can prepare materials for your team and keep you updated. However, last-minute registration may be possible, too.

What happens if it rains on the day of the game?

No one enjoys wandering in the rain with soggy booklets. If the forecast is bad, we’ll reschedule the quest and let you know in advance.

Do I have to speak English and Russian to play?

No need! You can choose your language — we provide all riddles in both English and Russian.
